Arizona's Congresswoman Martha McSally is not doing many public appearances outside of her home base of support. She doesn't want to explain to her constituents how she could possibly be championing Donald Trump's absurd #wealthcare proposal - there is no healthcare in the bill, only tax breaks and transfers for the wealthiest Americans.

American Babylon was at the Tucson People's Climate March downtown this weekend. There were thousands of people marching and protesting for rational climate policy based on science. One of them was US Congressman Raúl Grijalva from Tucson. Check out Raul's thoughts on the current administration (indictment was mentioned) and footage from the event!

American Babylon caught up with Congressman Joaquin Castro from San Antonio. We talked about Texas' pending horror-show anti-immigrant enforcement bill SB4, the nature of putting pressure on Congresspeople, and what the protests portend.

We get into deep end of a protest in downtown Tucson organized by members of LUPE Tucson. We talk about the behavior of the Tucson Police Department, the violence and tactics which are on display in the videos which were released, many of them the day of the protest.

American Babylon caught up with Green Valley News editor Dan Shearer, the man who moderated Congresswoman Martha McSally's recent townhall in Sahuarita, Arizona. The event was full to capacity with overflow crowds protesting in large numbers outside throughout. McSally took questions from the crowd and Shearer for about 90 minutes.

The Women's March on Washington was definitely an incredible event. The Fierce passion was everywhere you looked. People from all over the world came to insist on the dignity of their rights. The police absolutely did throw dozens of incendiary flash bomb devices indiscriminately into the crowd of protesters and observers and bystanders near 13th & K on Friday, January 20th @ the Trump Inauguration protest in Washington, DC.
